That feeling when you are living life pretty much on auto-pilot. You know that things need to change in your life but you're not sure which direction to go in. We have all been there and it's certainly not a good feeling at all to have. One thing I can say that I've learned throughout my years is that life really is what you make of it. You do have to go through those most uncomfortable times in life in order to get to the point of content and happiness.
Can you get to this point of content on your own? Well my short answer would be yes. If you feel that you don't have a single human being on this earth who you can turn to, positive change can happen alone. Change needs to begin with you and come from within. If you want to be better in life, then the end goal needs to be focusing on bettering yourself for YOU. If you begin your journey with trying to change for your children, your parents, your spouse or for anyone other than yourself then you are going to remain "stuck".
First lesson in life is to make positive changes for YOU. Once you change yourself for the better, everything else will follow. Now where should you begin? My short answer to that would be with your doctor of course. You need to first begin your journey with taking care of yourself from within. Be sure that there are no physical reasons of why you may feel stuck, confused or depressed. Once you've ruled out any physical reasons, the real work can begin. If you have come to the conclusion that the issues lie with confusion, motivation and just really not knowing where to begin then this is the time that you need to reach out.
