New Year... Same You?

Happy 2020 Everyone!!! It's a brand new year! What is it that you resolve to do different this year, if anything? New year resolutions sound like a good idea until it comes down to actually putting your goals into play. Well I can tell you one thing, unless you actually start by writing down your goals and knocking them out slowly, you won't see any real progression in your life. Easier said then done right? Well of course, life will always feel like an upward battle if you don't stop and figure out what it is that's not working for you. It is easier to accomplish the things that you set out to do if you have someone there to hold you accountable. Being held accountable will push you to make strides towards actually producing results in your own life. So today I want you to sit back and think about your life. What have you accomplished that you are extremely proud of this past year? What will you continue to do to remain on that path towards making your life what you want it to be? Lastly, what is your plan to get you to that point? This is where you will need to start in order to begin to bring peace to your existence. Life isn't meant to be a daily struggle. Yes it will not always be rainbows and butterflies but if you find yourself waking up daily with that feeling of dread, just know that this is not how life was meant to be. You don't want to be at the end of your life wondering why you didn't try harder, or do things differently. Remember life isn't guaranteed and you will run out of "tomorrow's" sooner than you think. Make 2020 your year of REAL change. #MentalHealthMatters
